Shanghai Darun Port Construction Group Co., Ltd., is a company with a Grade II General Contracting Qualification for Port and Waterway Projects, a Grade II Professional Qualification for Waterway Projects and a Grade III General Contracting Qualification for Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering and other qualifications. It mainly engages in port and waterway construction projects, including wharfs, breakwaters, waterway engineering, dredging and reclamation, storage yard, soft ground treatment, equipment installation, lifting and salvage and other hydraulic engineering constructions as well as ocean tuggage, vessel freightage, construction supplies and other related supporting businesses. Its markets cover more than 10 coastal provinces in China (municipalities and autonomous regions).
        In 2005, the Company, accredited to Quality, Environment and Employment Security Health Integrated Management System and SMS Ship Safety Management System, is a director member of China Water Transportation Construction Association and China Dredging Association. We are also awarded “AAA- Enterprise Credit Rating”, “2008-2009 Enterprise of Honoring Contract and Keeping Promise”, and “2008-2009 AAA Contract Credit Rating”, “2010-2011 Enterprise of Honoring Contract and Keeping Promise”, and “2010-2011 AAA Contract Credit Rating”, “2012-2013 Enterprise of Honoring Contract and Keeping Promise”.
       The Company now has 4 subsidiaries, 2 operational offices, 350 registered employees including more than 260 managers and professional and technical personnel, among which, there are more than 70 employees with qualified medium and senior professional and technical titles. The company has various types of more than 20 large and medium-sized vessels, including 27 self-propelled grab dredger, 3500 square cutter suction full frequency dredger, 8000 square trailing suction hopper dredger, 600 tons self-propelled crane, 2646 kilowatts tugboat, 1600 square self-propelled split hopper barge, sand suction boat, blowing mud (sand) boats, stone dumpers and others, and the Company is also equipped with various types of excavators, loaders, bulldozers and other construction machinery.
       With strong comprehensive construction strength, rich construction experiences and strong technical force, the Company has a comprehensive construction capability of more than 1 billion RMB annually. Over the past decade, Darun has totally undertaken about 100 constructions of waterway dredging, land formation, dike engineering and nearly 50 wharf engineering projects, including national and provincial, municipal (autonomous regions) key projects. The Company has participated in the Wharf Causeway and Land Formation of Ningbo Port Beilun Port Phase IV and Phase V, the Yangtze Estuary Deepwater Channel Improvement, the Harbor Dredging and Land Formation of Yangshan Deepwater Port, the Daxie D Minato 20,000-ton multi-purpose Wharf Causeway and Land Formation, the Wharf Expansion and Land Reclamation of Baosteel Majishan Port Phase I, the Western Land Soft Foundation Treatment Project of Ningde Nuclear Power Plant Phase II, Black-Odor River Improvement of Shanghai Nanhui Zhuqiao Zhangjiagang (excellent), Shanghai Qingcaosha reservoir, Wenzhou Ou River Estuary Dredging，Southern (sea) reclamation of Yueqing Bay Port Phase I, Lianyungang Port Ganyu 100,000 tons Waterway Phase I, Zhoushan Xiaoguoju Reclamation, the Waterway Dredging of Huarun Haifeng Power Plant, the Waterway Dredging of Zhoushan Luomen Fishing Harbor and other projects, as well as No.2 Outfitting Pier Project Phase I and Phase II for Tsuneishi Group (excellent), the 3,000-ton-class Berth of Zhoushan COFCO, Ningbo Maritime Monitor Base Wharf (excellent), Zhoushan Maritime Monitor Base Wharf, Daishan County Daqu first-class Fishing Port, the southern section Wharf and Revetment of Daishan County Gaoting central Fishing Port, the Zhoushan Rescue Pier of East Sea Rescue Bureau, the Meizhou Bay Rescue Base Wharf of East Sea rescue Bureau and other projects.
       In addition, the company invested in the construction of Zhoushan marine engineering equipment logistics support base in Zhoushan New Islands District. The base built under this project is supposed to be the unique base in Zhoushan City or even in Zhejiang Province, which integrates marine engineering equipment distribution center, supplies transfer distribution center and marine engineering management and technical personnel training center, high-tech eco-marine engineering equipment R & D center in one, which has an important economic value and far-reaching social significance for promoting the great-leap-forward development of Zhoushan marine engineering economy.
