【Project Overview】  Shanghai Darun Port Construction Group Co., Ltd. entered into the contract for construction of No.2 Outfitting Dock Project Phase II with Tsuneishi Group (ZHOUSHAN) Shipbuilding Inc. (TZS). This project consisted of the extension of 80,000-ton-class outfitting dock (pile-supported dock with pile cap of slab beam structure). The pile cap had a full length of 398.8 m supported by 256 Φ1200 rock-socketed cast-in-place piles and 108 B type Φ800PHC piles. The trestle bridge was 100.7m long and 12m wide, with a row distance of 10m. About 30 Φ800 rock-socketed cast-in-place piles served as the pile foundation. The total contract value exceeded RMB 100 million. The construction started on December 6, 2007, and completed on March 10, 2009. The project was assessed as excellent and highly praised by the Japanese Owner.
