【Project Overview】 Established on August 4, 1989, Beilun Power Plant, previously named as Beilun Port Power Plant, is China’s first coal-fired power plant that was built with World Bank loan, and was renamed Zhejiang Beilun Power Plant in March 1994. In 2005 Shanghai Darun Port Construction Group Co., Ltd. performed the dredging of dock aprons and berth pile foundation area of the coal transportation dock Phase I and Phases II, which covered 46,270 m2 (661m L x 70m W) with a contract term of 90 calendar days. In 2008 Darun undertook the dredging of this project again, which was divided into three phases, with a total contract period of seven months, covering an area of 80,000 m2 (800m L x 90m W).
