【Project Overview】 The western area in Yangshan Deep Water Port consisted of 4,000m-long container dock with 12 container berths. According to its design scheme, container berths would be built at both sides of the tidal inlet of Kezhushan Hill. Along the 3,500-meter-long coastline west of the hill in the direction of 106°-286° were 50,000-ton-class to 70,000-ton-class ocean container berths to be built; along the east coastline connecting phase II dock in the direction of 130°-310° were 50,000-ton-class to 70,000-ton-class ocean container berths to be built. Shanghai Darun Port Construction Group Co., Ltd. undertook then entire filling with sandbags and revetment construction.
