【Project Overview】 Undertaken by Shanghai Darun Port Construction Group Co., Ltd., the improvement project of a smelly black river of Zhangjialu Port in Zhuqiao Town, was part of environmental engineering project of Nanhui District. The project consisted of dredging volume of nearly 0.3 million m³ from the 3km river, revetment of 2,734m, a bridge over a branch river, a 2km flood control passage, 65,000 m² landscaping, 800m intercepting sewage system, two waterfront terraces and five water outlets. Upon inspection and acceptance, this project was assessed as excellent and well praised by the society in Nanhui District, which was a contribution to the local environmental engineering made by Darun.
